I made this ring last semester in casting, but for some reason never uploaded it here.
Anyways, I had too much fun wax working and then it evolved into this
-lost wax casting
-Silver and bronze

It is interesting to see people's reactions to it, so I'm not going to explain it more. I want to hear what you think.

I had a random person start a conversation with me once about my ring because I was wearing it.. it was great to see his reaction. And a little flattering, he didn't realize that I had made it.

Thank you. I've gotten a few double takes while wearing it out, actually!

Beautiful and unique piece! Its organic curves create an abstract form that very much reminds me of nature.

I really like cast rings that look organic. wonderful work. Was this carved or drip?

Thanks, I carved the silver ring, and the bronze piece was wax dripped and melted together. It actually was derived from me finding a way to use my scrap pieces of wax from carving.

That is truly great about the converstation. I'm always going up to other women and looking and asking about their jewelry. And I'm always more impressed when they made the piece themselves. So, although I really have no feeling one way or the other about this piece, kudos to you for being so awesome!
